Integrated Service Unit (UPT)
The big swift of reformation has moved the changes in many sectors. Likewise , in the public service sector. People demanded a change in the quality of public services to be better . Otherwise, at the time of his inauguration, the Pekalongan Major got a mandate from the Central Java Governor to form the Integrated Service Institution.
Concern about that , so Pekalongan City Government has formed Integrated Service Unit with Pekalongan Major Rules Number 24 Year 2005 about the Integrated Service Unit which officially began to operate on November 1st, 2005 and occupied the office in Jl.
With the officer as many 18 people and it is leaded by a coordinator, Integrated service Unit serves 14 license and non-license type. The authority was based on the decision of Pekalongan Major No. 503 / 0478 year 2006 about the Delegation Revocation of the Signing Authority in the License Field. With all the limitations it has, Integrated Service Unit tries to be the beginning of a paradigm change for the better public services.
Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPTPM)
With the existing of Integrated Service Unit, it is still inadequate yet to be able to provide the best service to the people. Besides that, the addition of the complaint and control element and the Investment , it's needed to be followed by the existing of the adequate institutions and able to manage the authority which must be taking care of . So on November 13th, 2006 was decided the Pekalongan City Rules No. 21 of 2006 which became the basis of the formation of Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPTPM)of Pekalongan City. To fulfil the personel of DPTM , it just could be implemented in April 2007.
By implementing the Pekalongan Major Decision No. 503/468 year 2008 about the Authority Devolution of License Signature in Pekalongan City to the Leader of DPTPM(Investment and Integrated Service Office), so the licensing service which is managed by DPTPM increased from 14 types became to 28 license and non-license types. With the Major's decision, so the License Signature can be done by the DPTPM Leader, so it could accelerate the service process. Furthermore,by the Pekalongan Major Decision No. 503 / 980 year 2008 about the Authority Devolution of License Signature in Pekalongan City to the Leader of DPTPM, license and non-license which was managed by DPTPM has increased to become 32 types.
Board of Integrated License Service (BPPT)
By rising up the Government Rules Number 41 Year 2007 about the Organization of District Device, so that it was done the adjustment of District Device Organization in Pekalongan City. According to the Government Rules, so the form of institutions for the one door integrated service is an Agency, so that DPTPM converted into BPPT(Integrated Licensing Service Office). Effectively, the change began to be implemented on January 5th, 2009.
To be more increase the comfort of the people who need license and non-license service, then at the end of April, 2009 BPPT moved from the old office on Jl. Majapahit No. 8 to the new office on Jl. Majapahit No. 1. But for the inauguration of the new BPPT office just could be held on May 23rd, 2009
Board Of Investment and Integrated License Service (BPMP2T)
The Investment is one of matters to be the regional authority. For now, this matter is only placed in one of the Agency/Department existing. By the existing of President Instruction about the Acceleration of National Development Priority Operation Year 2010 which one of the priority is the investment and business climate dedicating the consolidating implementation of Investment implementation plan in order to arrange the One Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) of Investment, so now the investment matter is not enough only placed in one of Agency/Department, but it should be one agency/department which stands alone that has the investment functions inside.
Along with this, the Pekalongan City Government carries out the evaluation and restructuring the organization where the principles in the organization structure is a government affairs which becomes the regional authority which consists of the compulsory affairs and options. Indeed, not all matters of government will be formed in a separate organization, but considering the affairs of investment is strategic enough, then the Pekalongan City Government considers it necessary to change the composition of the implementing organization of the investment in beginning called The Board of Integrated License Service (BPPT) to be The Board of Investment and Integrated License Service (BPMP2T).
That Organization Restructuring is defined in the Regional Rules Number 1 Year of 2011 about the Organization Structure and Work System of Regional Staffs/Officers of Pekalongan City and Pekalongan Mayor Rules Number 23 year of 2011 about the Duty and Function of Satpol PP and Board of Investment and Integrated License Service (BPMP2T) Pekalongan City effectively in October 1,2011. The Board of Investment and Integrated License Service is shorted become BPMP2T which is the combination of regional staff/officer elements who have the authority function in the service field of investment and license. Serve 36 license types.
Office of Investment and One Stop Integretad Service (DPMPTSP)
Based on the Regulation Number 23 Year 2013, the Investment is an obligatory for the Regional Government . Through the Regional Regulation Number 5 Year 2016 about Establishment and Composition of Regional Devices Pekalongan City and the Regulation of Pekalongan Major about Position, Arrangement, Duty, Function and Working Procedure of Investment and One Stop Integrated Service Office so it is formed the DPMPTSP Office which serves 38 Licenses.
